Computer Lab

BIMS has a sophisticated Computer Centre with a large number of PCs with multi-terminal facilities and assortment of management oriented software packages. It provides adequate support for computer education to the students. Resources include high-end IBM servers, HCL servers, thin clients, workstations and printers. The Institute offers 24 hours internet facility which is available for departmental use on campus. Network is based on Gigabit Ethernet structured cabling through high speed bandwidth .

Besides conducting hands –on practical sessions for students, the Centre also provides Management Application. Intensive practical training on computers is compulsory for all students of the institute.

Library

The library of the Institute is a repository of text books, journals, magazines, CD’s, case studies, project reports on a wide range of subjects. It has sufficient number of Indian and Foreign Periodicals spanning all aspects of Management. Being well organized and open access library, it facilitates free usage of books on the shelf by the students, faculty and readers

 In addition to regular services, the library is having membership of British Council Library (BCL) and American Information Resource Centre (AIRC).The stock and services of library is meant to help academic community, researchers, public and private sector managers and professional groups abreast with the latest developments in their key areas of activities and provides information support for research and consultancy. At the same time for students library is a major source of information support for their course curriculum as well as their self development. Facilities are available for having photocopies of relevant portions of books and journals at a minimum charge subject to the copyright restrictions.

 

 

 

Classrooms

Classroom learning is meant primarily for theoretical and conceptual inputs. Books and periodicals from National and International sources compliment classroom lectures. Emphasis is laid on audio-visual aids and the use of software packages. The classrooms have gallery system, individualistic desk system, large green & white writing boards, projection screen, LCD arrangements, slide projectors, internal public address system and over head projectors. Eminent personalities with diverse areas of specialization from the corporate world are invited to interact with the students.

 

 

Other Facilities

Provision has been made for indoor and outdoor games for relaxation and recreation. Medical facilities are also available at the institute for common illness.
