It gives me immense pleasure to
convey my heartiest felicitations to the Bhavan's
Institute of Management Science, Kolkata, which is about
to conclude the 1st batch of two year MBA program in July
2002. Young Management Graduates of tomorrow are eagerly
looking forward to get launched in the industry where they
can try out their analytical skills, academic knowledge
and practical experience which they have gained during the
last two years.
Imbibed with ideals and vision of
Bharatia Vidya Bhavan, the outgoing graduates of BIMS will
prove their worth in the corporate world.
The elaborate MBA curriculum, the
guidance of eminent faculties, work experience and
constant monitoring of the economic scenario, will allow
these matured students to take up the challenges of tomorrow's
business world.
I am certain that the management
graduates of BIMS will make their mark in the industry. I
wish them and the Institute the very best in their quest
for excellence.

Director's Message on
Annual Convocation 2002
Proper education and building up
a good character are the basic essentials for an
individual at the early stages. These should be
intensively practiced and developed along with other
curriculum, as the curriculum is a basic instrument for
the intellectual, physical and emotional level of the
student. With its professional competence and experience
Bhavan is able to make leeway in the progress of the
professional management to meet the existing demand in a
highly competitive environment.
Our Institute of Management
Science has been conceived and designed to perpetuate
these ideas and to provide the students with the facility
of having an intensive research and study of the modern
management techniques including computers.
We are proud enough to say that
we have successfully completed the first year of the
Management program and look forward to a bright future
with confidence.
